The primary aim of the present study is to determine the effect of the sustainable supply chain applications of manufacturers operating in the automotive sector on business performance. The research data was collected by filling questionnaire forms through personal interviews. All 318 manufacturers operating in the automotive sector in Konya province were accessed and 158 usable questionnaire forms were obtained at the end of the process. The collected data were analyzed by using SPSS statistical analysis software. As the result of the study, it was found that sustainable supply chain practices had a positive effect on business performance. Although there are some studies in the world literature on the effect of the practices carried out within the context of sustainable supply chain management on business performance, no studies were found regarding the effect of such practices on business performance in our country. For this reason, the present study in which the manufacturing businesses operating in the automotive sector are discussed is a pioneering study for our country. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren üreticilerin sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının işletme performansına etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında kişisel görüşme yoluyla anket formunun doldurulması yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Konya ilinde otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 318 üreticinin tamamına ulaşılmış ve süreç sonunda 158 kullanılabilir anket formu elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının işletme performansına pozitif bir etkisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sürdürülebilir tedarik zinciri yönetimi bağlamında gerçekleştirilen uygulamaların işletme performansına etkisi üzerine dünya literatüründe bazı çalışmaların yapıldığı görülse de, ülkemizde bu uygulamaların işletme performansına etkisi ile ilgili herhangi bir çalışmaya rastlanamamıştır. Dolayısıyla otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren üretici işletmelerin konu edildiği bu çalışma ülkemiz açısından öncü bir çalışmadır.
